Graduate will meet the eligibility requirements to operate as a Commercial pilot under the appropriate New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) rules for General Aviation. The Private, Commercial and Instrument rating theory subjects include Air Law, Flight Navigation, Meteorology, Principles of Flight, Aircraft Technical Knowledge, Human Factors, IR Law, IR Navigation, and IR Navigation Instruments and Aids.
Flying practical and flight tests for PPL & CPL covering:
Knowledge of ground examination subjects as above
Knowledge of the Privilege & Limitation of a PPL and CPL
Technical and operational knowledge relevant to the aircraft type used in the flight tests
Competence to operate the aircraft
Control the aircraft at all times and ensure a successful outcome of any procedure or manoeuvre is never in doubt
